“I was drawn to OT because I didn’t want to be limited to just one thing,” she says. “It’s the perfect crossover between all the allied health professions.” Since joining Forbes Care, Grace has become known for her vibrant presence, commitment to neurodivergent-affirming practice, and her remarkable ability to support not only clients, but the next generation of OTs.

A Neuro-Affirming, Strengths-Based Approach

Grace’s passion lies in supporting adolescents and young adults—particularly those who are neurodivergent. With a Master’s in Child and Adolescent Mental Health under her belt, she approaches therapy through a lens that honours identity, builds trust, and supports meaningful, long-term change.

One of her go-to strategies is the “therapeutic use of self.” Grace explains, “Who we are in the room matters. I model self-advocacy, provide a respectful space, and focus on helping clients understand their nervous systems and emotional regulation needs.”

From sensory-based strategies to co-regulation tools and visual supports, Grace creates therapy environments that feel safe, empowering, and client-led.

Mentoring the Next Generation

As a Senior OT and New Graduate Supervisor, Grace doesn’t just build up her clients—she also uplifts her team. Her ability to guide and encourage newer OTs has had a ripple effect across Forbes Care.

“Grace is a force of nature,” her supervisor shares. “She flawlessly blends creative clinical thinking with compassionate leadership. Whether she’s supporting new grads or leading innovative therapy planning, she brings so much heart to what she does.”

One standout moment came when a Support Coordinator called to rave about her work. “Grace has just completed the most AMAZING FCA for one of her adult clients. The report was incredible, and even the client—who is notoriously hard to impress—was blown away.”
