Forbes Care Occupational Therapy provides participants with autism and neuro-affirming challenges with occupational therapy services, funded through the government NDIS Program. Our therapy involves supporting autistic individuals in building on their goals and skills, which can vary significantly from one participant to the next. Our aim is to help our participants develop and enhance practical everyday skills, self-regulation strategies, confidence, and active engagement across daily environments

Is occupational therapy suitable if my child already receives other therapies?

Yes. Occupational therapy often complements other supports and can work alongside existing therapies, such as speech therapy, psychology, physiotherapy, and educational supports.

Where are services delivered?

Services can be provided wherever necessary for the participants' needs. Whether it be at home, in school, in workplaces, or in the community, depending on the participant's goals.

How often will occupational therapy sessions occur?

Session frequency is tailored to the individual and what is set in their NDIS plan. This may range from short term assistance to regular ongoing support.

Do you work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants?

Yes. As a registered NDIS provider we support clients who are Agency managed, plan managed and self managed.
