Forbes Care Occupational Therapist Bianca brings a practical, down-to-earth approach to her work, helping clients regain independence and confidence in the everyday. Whether it’s tweaking a morning routine, adjusting a living space, or setting up assistive tech, Bianca is a generalist OT who thrives on variety—and connecting with people in a way that feels both real and empowering.
Bianca’s OT journey began with a simple but powerful motivation: helping people do the things that matter most to them.
“I’ve always loved the challenge of turning ‘I can’t’ into ‘I just did.’ There’s something really powerful about helping people get back to the little things, like making a cup of tea or getting out into the garden, that bring joy and independence. It’s practical, creative, and deeply human.”
That focus on the human side of therapy is what drives Bianca’s work. She’s endlessly curious and adaptable—qualities that serve her well as a generalist OT supporting a diverse range of people across the region.
No two days are ever the same in Bianca’s calendar—and that’s just how she likes it. From assistive technology and home modifications to task breakdowns and daily living skills, her work is as diverse as the clients she supports.
“That variety keeps me curious, adaptable, and ready to meet people exactly where they are.”
This flexibility allows Bianca to tailor her approach, responding to what matters most to each individual in the moment. While she’s still discovering the tools and strategies that will become her signature, one thing is already clear: she knows how to build strong, safe, and supportive relationships.
When asked about her favourite therapy tool, Bianca doesn’t name a resource or app. Instead, she highlights the power of connection.
“When clients feel supported and comfortable, that’s where the magic happens. Building genuine rapport is key to unlocking that space—and to me, that’s where real progress takes off.”
For Bianca, therapy isn’t about quick fixes or cookie-cutter solutions. It’s about walking alongside each person, listening closely, and making progress feel possible—one small win at a time.
One of the things Bianca values most about working at Forbes Care is the culture of trust and support.
“What really clicks for me at Forbes Care is the people—their genuine care, support, and how we always have each other’s backs. Whether sharing a clinical win or tackling challenges, there’s always someone cheering you on and helping you grow.”
This environment fuels her motivation and pushes her to show up fully for her clients.
At the heart of Bianca’s practice is her commitment to authenticity.
“I’m all about keeping it real and relaxed—focusing on what matters to each client and working with them, not at them. Building trust means being honest, listening, and celebrating every win, big or small.”
It’s this approach that helps people not only meet their goals—but feel proud and in control of the journey.
